Socialization

A new "Social Media" technology we introduced in June of 2011 is Ecumen Connects, a private (and secure) website for our residents' families to connect with their loved ones and our community events. Learning basic computer skills are proven to help seniors sharpen their memory, build confidence, and promote overall cognitive fitness. Rehabilitation Services

Ecumen Scenic Shores offers long term and short stay rehabilitation after a surgery or hospitalization.  We can streamline your post-surgery plans by scheduling your rehabilitation stay BEFORE your surgery.  For more information call 218-834-8374 or CONTACT US by email. 

Home Care

Premier Home Care services are available to Two Harbors area residents and beyond through Ecumen's Lakeshore at Home, based in Duluth.  Lakeshore at Home brings you innovative services, skilled nursing care, wellness programs, and support services that empower you to live in your home with the honor and dignity you deserve.

Our caring professionals can provide the following homecare services:

Therapy Services -- Therapists are available to visit your home for:

• Physical therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Speech therapy including VitalStim

Skilled Nursing -- When your physician orders skilled nursing services, our licensed professionals offer those services right at home, such as:

• Advanced Wound Care including IVIVI Technology
• Infusion Therapy
• Laboratory Services
• Education & Self Care Instruction
• Home Health Aide Services (assistance with bathing, personal hygiene and other needs)
• Other Skilled Services (catheter care, tracheostomy tubes, tube feedings and other services)

Support -- Caring for the whole individual means treating mind and spirit as well as the body. Support services include:

• Registered dietician services
• Medical social worker services
• Counseling
• Chaplain visits
• Transportation
